Hi all! Just installed a Neptune pm1 and PH probe a few hours ago. After a few minutes the reading stabilized at 8.36 and hasn't changed. My question is, for people with a ph probe, how much does your reading fluctuate throughout the day?

Also, I'm planning to start adding kalk to my ato after I raise my calcium and alkalinity with the brs starter kit. I am just not sure if it's going to raise my ph too much due to the fact that my ph already seems on point. Still trying to figure out how this kalk thing works..

I’d use 2 part then if your pH is already that high.

I live in the Caribbean so my windows are open year round. Just started measuring my ph so no idea what it's been but probably been good all along.

I can't get my PH up past 8.1 no matter what I do. I have tank lid propped and the feeding door open too. Fan on and have a skimmer....guess it will have to do

Mine has been pretty consistent all afternoon. It's starting to drop a little now that the lights are off. I'll have to see how it goes tomorrow.
