So thought this would be a bit of fun and we may pick up a few neat tricks from each other.

Me I take at 30L drum, fill it with hot water and 5L of vinegar let the equipment run through. Pull it all apart give it a good scrub with a toothbrush put it back together and let it run through somemore. Drip dry and back in the tank.

I also like the vinegar. Now if the equipment came off a tank I suspect had some disease, I will give it a soak in bleach for a while then to the vinegar

Vinegar here too

Powerheads like my tunze and return pump and skimmer pump go in a 5 gallon bucket with a gallon Pc vinegar and top the rest with water. Soak till clean rinse in sink and back in service

Skimmer goes in a tall kitchen garbage can with a gallon of vinegar and then enough water to cover it

Toothbrush and warm water. I never let coralline build up on pumps. Just too hard on the plastic and I like to keep an eye out for magnet’s rusting.

How quickly do you all find the diluted vinegar gets things loose? I have been using full strength but would love to mix w water if it worked.
