What's your rarest fish?

My Paracheilinus attenuatus (Diamond Tail flasher wrasse) isn't rare but is less common that other flashers.

Thanks, I think so too! It's a lot of fun to go out and collect your own livestock. And if my track record is anything to go by, wild caught fish are far better at adapting to captive life than LFS bought fish.

Difficult to keep does not mean 'rare'. Tigerpyge Angel is rare, as is the Zebra Tang and the Peppermint Angel. May not even be rare in nature, just difficult to collect thus rare in the hobby.

I'm not sure of the rarity though i've never seen another for sale and can't find much info on it; Priolepis boreus. Commonly known as a circus goby. This isn't my picture since I almost never see him. He was sold to me as a clown goby. It's definitely an interesting fish and they swim upside down lol.

Current "rare" is an C. venustus.

I used to have an C. deborae, not as rare now, but the one I had was the first one offered by Diver's Den. Lost it by being stupid and cutting short QT on another dwarf.

I've got a trio of 3.5 inch Cross Hatch Triggers. Cross Hatches are one of the more rare triggers, but finding them under 4 inches is incredibly difficult.
