Oh wow, I didn't know the black clingfish could be a potential issue. I thought they were supposed to be pretty peaceful and timid, I was considering getting one as well.

I have not heard about any specific instances where Black/Stippled clingfish (Gobiesox punctulatus) have become particularly aggressive. However, @Chasmodes had a closely related Skilletfish (Gobiesox strumosus) capture a juvenile blenny. Skilletfish grow about an inch longer than Stippled clingfish.

I believe my Mysis shrimp were consuming my Copepods, so the latter needed an extra kick. Since I began dosing (capful on Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday), the Copepod population has probably quadrupled.

I HIGHLY recommend clown gobies, especially Citrinis clown gobies. I have one in my 90 gal macro tank and it absolutely loves to perch on the macros. It is the coolest thing to see! I have a couple pics of mine perching on my String of Pearls in my build thread.

By the way, where did you source your String of pearls macroalgae?

Solieria? I wish I did, but it seems to be incredibly rare in the states .

I had black finger algae once. It came from a petco rock i bought.

Here, yes, that is an old ribbon eel I once had. In the black circle was a broken piece of the finger algae. It was actually very pretty and my tang didn't really care for it much. It grew like mad in my refugium.

I agree find all the rare macros . But for inverts maybe a bunch of coco worms/feather dusters or like a whole hoard of sexy shrimp! If you can keep up on dosing phtyo could try some encrusting or finger sponges too

You just reminded me of those incredible blue Haliclona sponges! I believe they have some on Blue Zoo Aquatics at the moment. Thank you!

Porcelain crabs are easily my favorite invert in my tank. They come in so many different colors! Salty Bottom Reef Company usually has them for way cheaper than anywhere else I've seen. Squat lobsters are also pretty neat!

This evening, I added live mud from auto_battery_trim and themacroman on eBay.

The bags

Consequences…

The mud looked fantastic! However, the first 5 pounds of mud contained some Mangrove leaves and roots, wood flakes, … and two pieces of plastic. These were all removed. The 10 pounds of mud also contained large rubble pieces.
