I purchased a Wheeler Goby and Candy pistol shrimp a couple of weeks ago but I have a CBS and I am assuming he got taken out by it. I also haven't seen the pistol shrimp but I hear clicks every once in a while so I believe he is still alive. I also believe the CBS caused my Fire Goby to go MIA.

I have a pair of wheeler gobies and a pistol shrimp.

One or both gobies may go into hiding for days on end. Then front and center again.

It’s typical behavior.

I doubt the cbb killed the fish unless the were already sick and dying.

The fish and pistol shrimp seemed pretty healthy when I introduced them. But the CBS started hunting them down right when they hit the water.

Do you spot feed your cbs at all? You may want to try that.
