Whelk or nassarius snail?

i have three of them and they were tiny (Amphipod) and now getting bigger. Not sure what they came in on. Most likely my gulf rock. whelk or nassarius?

They’re predatory - typically eating things like other snails (your CUC), crustaceans (ornamental shrimp and such), worms (CUC and ornamental), etc. A few species (not “true whelks” but whelks nonetheless- such as a few Rapanine Whelk species) also eat corals.

Hmmm… looks like I also have some whelks terrorizing my tank. What should I do to get rid of them?

Yea you need to send them to me. Those will invade the whole tank if you dont
