So I am starting a new tank and i basically have no idea what i am doing. I am building the stand, I have the the tank itself. Not sure what to do for the sump, any suggestions? this is also going to be like a 6 month build. I am doing a frag tank to compliment my roommates real tank, its 4ft x 2ft x 1 ft

How big is your tank.
The sump might have
1 filter sox
2. Refugium
3, proti3n skimmer
4, return pump

#WelcometoR2R I'd take a gander at the DIY portion of the forum. Lots of good homemade stands to help get you started. Do you have the dimensions of the space your trying to fill. That will help inform a lot of your tank sizing decisions, material planning and such.

welcome, interesting dimensions. Are you making the stand a little taller than usual? I would think only a foot tall would be difficult to see all the way in.

I would suggest to draw a layout for your tank and stand and we can best suggest the sump portion of the build. Take a photo of the drawing and post it thereafter
