If you buy a Seneye Reef Monitor used you have to have the previous owner whom registered the device email Seneye and inform Seneye they have sold it and need to now register the device to you .
Go on Seneye’s web page and register for an account ahead of time so you arent waiting to use your new monitor .

You would think someone would inform you of this hiccup but that is not always the case .

Does Seneye think the 2nd buyer stole it? That sounds ludicrous too me for them to do that.
Thats exactly what they think . “Do to malicious actions”

So someone in NY steals one from someone that had registered it in California? I think they are just collecting data myself. They ask some pretty weird questions about you when you register them. I didn't think a whole lot about it until I saw your post. Could be Russians....
