When did you add a monti cap

Just wondering when you added monti caps with success

For me I added one 2 months in and it grew well. That's not to say that it will work with everyone though, maybe I was just lucky

Seeing the beginnings of coralline algae would be a great indicator that chemistry is correct and stable.

Well my tank is 4 months old and it seems I got coralline algae growing randomly.

I like to take it slow I waited until about 10 months to add sps kept mostly softies and lps for a while. Doesnt mean you cant add way sooner it's just more care and effort when the tank is younger. I learned from my first tanks that sps are expensive and can die overnight so I decided to take this tank extra slow. It's about 14 months now and things are starting to really settle in a grow fast.

Appreciate the compliment. Monti is a pretty easy sps probably better of in your tank probably will do good
