I am quarantining a medium size powder blue tang in my 10 gallon tank with Coppersafe. How often should I change the water and by how much during the quarantining process?

You're going to really have to watch the Ammonia in a tank that small with a powder blue. I tried to quarantine a medium sized one in a 20g long and I had to do 50% water changes every other day just to stay on top of the ammonia. Even then I still had some measurable levels. He was getting too stressed out in such a small tank that I ended up having to put him into a 55g tank.

I got a 10 gallon QT tote and I do a gallon a day for 5 and then 2 for one day then back to 1 a day....seems to be working out. I’ve kept my therapeutic levels constant. Lost 1 fish to my error( a fire fish, he got trapped in the intake) and 1 lawnmower blenny. He had plenty of nori and was on the final stretch when he died. I’ve read that they’re difficult to QT. My clown remaining FF and yellow watchman seem normal.
