I would like to know when everyone does their water parameter testing in relation to water changes.
My gut is telling me to test right before I do a water change so that I can see exactly where my parameters are at before things like nitrates/nitrites are dilluted and Alk/CA are increased due to new salt going in. What are your thoughts?

I test the day before my weekly water change, and again two days after. Basically, I test on Monday, and again on Friday. Water is changed on Saturday. If there is something in particular I am watching...like Alkalinity for example, I may test that one thing again on Wednesday. Everything is logged on a spreadsheet so I can see what is going on with my tank. :)
