When is 2.5" not 2.5"

I recently ordered a 2"-2.5" Flame Hawk and they send me Squirt, I mean this guy is small, if he breaks an inch I'll be surprised.
He is afraid of everything because everything thing in the tank is huge by comparison.
He has found a spot to hide, behind my overflow box, he doesn't leave there. He is eating but he may need to put on an inch or so before he comes out lol.
He's been there for 3 days. But he is cool
