Building a new system in my basement. In wall. Tank is on unfinished side of basement with a nice exhaust fan above it. Currently it’s 70 degrees in that room every day. Current humidity is 30%. I don’t think the temp will change any during the year. It’s a new house and it seems to stay consistent. At what Average room temp is a split AC required? Hoping to avoid. I currently have a JBJ 28 g on the finished side of basement and I’ve never had it go above 78 degree water temp.

I wouldn't worry about it honestly. Youd have to be uncomfortably hot and humid to really have to add a separate ac system to the room
