When PH swing happen ? with or w/o coral

As I know, with coral, during daytime ( light up) the PH is high cuz the CO2 amount is low, at night the CO2 amount in water cause PH to drop. partially because of the process of photosynthesis. But if I only keep Anemone and fishes. Can PH swing happen?
