I have 4 frags of Zoas and I was wondering when should I take them off the plug. These are my Zoas. Where do you guys recommend to put them.

They'll grow onto your rocks which is great if you're a hobbiest. Eventually, you won't see the plug when it grows in thicker.

I would not take them off the plugs either. Unless they fit nicely in a crevice though i would cut the stem off

they dont really have a foot for a lack of a better term to grip onto things. I wouldnt cut them off otherwise they would most likely be blow away. - kali

Just wait long enough and they will crawl off the plug like a anemone. I don't know why but mine hate being on plugs and go wild as soon as they get to the rock
