When to add a CuC?

I added my 1st fish and finally turned on my lights yesterday. What is the recommended timing of adding some CuC members? Wait until algae is visible? One week? Any advice is welcome. TIA.

Wait until there is something to clean up, and be prepared to offer supplemental food.

First signs of algae or diatoms
