When to add BTA

looking for some help on knowing when to add a anemone to my new tank. I added frits 9 ammonia and nitrate on the tank about 3 weeks ago with a bottle of biofim seed
Corals have been doing well I only really have softies in right now but wondering if it would be ready for anemone
Two tanks running right now until I finish moving all the corals over to the new tank

Most will say a tank of at least 6 months to 1 yr of maturity to have a successful tank with a nem.

Just be aware these guys do move around and can walk right into a power head and nuke your tank. You'll want to get some kind of cage on a power head to prevent it.

Most would say to wait at least 6 months to 1 year for the tank to establish before adding any type of nem

How old are the other two tanks you’re transferring. That will play a huge role in the timespan. typically safe when you can grow coralline fast.

Tank was about 5 years old and had tons of coralline everywhere. Problem is I cleaned and dried all my rock because they where covered in hair algae

Then it’s a complete restart earliest I would add a nem is close to a year.

I put mine in at 4 months knowing risks. For what it’s worth they e done well. With one of them splitting after getting plump and sassy. They will move around like everyone is saying .

Yeah I had luck with it last time aswell I’ve kept my nems for better half of two years in the old tank but just don’t know if I should sell them and buy more later with this dilemma

After drying your rock, it's a brand new restart. Once you are growing Coraline again is a pretty good indicator it's ready.
