When to add Chaeto? and what bulb.

Recently broke down my 75g it was too much to handle at this time in my life and turned my IM nuvo 20g AIO into a 20g with a 15 gallon sump. This is my first time doing a refugium and i was wondering how long should i let my tank mature before i add chaeto ?? and what cheap bulb can i buy off amazon.ca , i plan to just use one of those basic work lights that clip on. Thank you.

Hi I’m kinda a newbie only reefing for a year and a half I bought a ufo from amazon (circular one) £35 works a treat and it has a built in fan I use a WiFi timer plug on it or a cheap Poundland timer will do my tank lights go out at 10pm and my refuge turns on at 9pm to help ph overnight and I’d spend the money and buy clean Cheto don’t get it free from another refer as it will always have aptasia in it hope this helps

No probs this light has lasted over a year and still works great with no signs of rust either and comes with the hanging kit included I cannot justify spending £200 on a refuge light

i try to keep the hobby cheap for myself.. living in the canadian bush makes it difficult. sad news is your light is only on the american amazon lol.
