Hi all,

So I'm hopefully close to setting up my tank and have a few questions about adding things at the right time. I thought I'd get all the fish in first, then corals.

Now, have people found it better to go fish - coral - fish - etc when adding to a tank, or get all the fish in first to avoid mini cycles with corals in the tank.

The other question was SPS with softies, now my tank I'm going to setup is 850L so there will be plenty of room, but I've read mixed reviews of having the 2 together.

Thanks for all the expert advise in advance

Some of the softies like leathers will release chemical warfare and stress sps and some lps. Running activated carbon will help.

add everything in groups a few weeks apart is most peoples methods, it lets the tank get settled

Welcome to Reef2reef a great place to learn And a great group of people .
