When to change RO/DI filters ?

The resin in my RO/DI unit has started to change color, but my tds meter is still reading 0. Should I changed out my filters now or when the tds meter starts reading higher than 0?

I always wait until my TDS meter gets up to about two or three then I change all of the filters

Though it depend on the configuration of your rodi. Role of thump you should change when tds is anything but zero.
I run 7 staged rodi where I can change specific filters or resins before TDS is above zero. But that is done when you have TDS meters between diffrent stages or when you use di resins that change color when depleted.
