When to harvest?

I’ve had my algae reactor setup for around a couple of weeks now, but I’m not sure how often I should be harvesting the cheato.

This was taken a week ago…

Also, how long before I start to see a noticeable affect on my nutrients? My nitrate is more than 75ppm (as high as the Hanna HR Nitrate checker will go) and phosphates are around 0.12

I automatically pull biweekly or when the water start to overflow

How much did you start with? I Would try to base the harvest on your growth rate at the moment since your consumption rate may be hard to follow with your nitrates maxing out your tests
