When to move new sps?

I got a new frag of stylophora and i put it in the sand bed and was wondering how long to you let it acclimate before you move it higher towards the light.

Allot depends on your lights and the lights it originally came from. If there's not much difference I move mine in a couple of weeks.

I think they came from hydras or razors. I have an ai prime

I stopped doing the whole “start on the sandbed, move to the lower rocks move a little higher, then to the final spot” game. Or the “put on a frag rack and slide it up the glass over weeks” (which is actually counter productive. Most tanks register higher par at the glass down low than up high). I lost countless frags having them shuffle all over the tank every couple weeks. Every single acro I get goes straight to its final spot the minute it hits the tank (excluding dipping and all that, I just mean once it is fit for the display). I don’t stage them or light acclimate anymore. Yes. Some of them bleach quickly. But I haven’t lost a single acro in the last year or so since I started putting them directly where I want them.
