My nano reef tank is currently in week 1 of cycle. I want to have the purple coralline on my dry rocks. Should I use coralline algae bottle at this point or wait to complete the cycle?

When you add your CUC, chances are you'll import coralline with the snails. Don't try to force it. When the coralline starts to grow on your rocks, it's an indication that your tank is stabilizing.

As much as we want a magic bottle or pill, you cant hurry it. It just takes time.

That helix stuff works, I used it. I have an insane amount of coralline. I had to get an urchin I have so much.
What was the turnaround? I used it about 10 days ago and don't have much/any growth.

The helix stuff also has nitrifying bacteria, which makes it good to use towards the beginning of your cycle.

About 4 months for rocks and back glass to be totally covered. Not quick. But specks started appearing after the first month.

Wait until cycle is done, coraline in a bottle is a joke. Just get some snails or frags with it already growing and...in time you will have coraline growth

Have you personally tried a bottled coralline? ARC Reefs Helix worked for me.
