Hello, I have just started my second tank, and it is currently cycling. Seeing that low nutrients can be a costly mistake in new reefs (dinos, cyano, etc.) - should I dose phosphate as soon as my cycle completes? Or should I wait until P04 shows up naturally over time from feeding and waste?

I can’t keep phosphates in my 50g tank that is going on 4 months old. I have to dose 4ml of neophos every day and still can’t get a reading but…. I did add Copapods and amphipods and they have been doing a great job keeping those uglies to a minimum.
