My Nano 20 gal is consuming .6 dkh per week. 7.8 -》7.2

Is this warrent enough to start dosing or is WC still fine.

Or Kalk?

Thanks

Do you have an ATO? The easiest thing, if you have an ATO, is to add lime to your ATO container. You can simply pick up some Mrs. Wages Pickling Lime at Walmart and add 1 teaspoon per gallon to your ATO.

If the water changes are frequent enough and keep the alk high enough, then that's a fine way to go. But it may not for long with substantial corals. 0.6 dKH per week is very low demand. Many sps tanks are 50 times higher. :)

Dropping .6 in alk over a week is no concern, how's your calcium. If you are relying on your wc, alk in you new water will need to be around 9 to keep your current level. If you can do this then weekly water changes are fine, providing your ca is in check also; mg will probably not be a problem. Again providing your are using a salt mix with the proper parameters.

Using AF reef salt its around 7.5 fresh.

Im not really tracking Ca

Probably should start tracking the other 2.
