When to start Kalk or CaRx?

New tank (230 gal) - 4 weeks in. No corals yet. No lights on. First 2 fish tomorrow.

Ph steady at 8.1
Alk at 8.3

Do I set up a Kalk or CaRX now or wait until there are corals?

I would say, not only wait until you have corals but also wait until you have corals and the corals are utilizing calcium and carbonate enough that your routine water changes does not replenish it. Don't add stuff until you need it! I learned this the hard way.
