When to start up refugium

Hi all,
Tank up and running for a week, started with dry rock, live sand, dr Tim’s and seeded media from established tank. Lights off. 4 fish added from old tank. When should I start up a refugium and add pods? Research says once cycle is finished but technically I had an instant cycle?
Any help appreciated…

I got rid of my Fuge and got myself a algae scrubber, I’m kicking myself in the butt that I didn’t do this a long time ago, not only is it way more effective, but hardly any maintenance
