When topping off, do you need to add salt?

Newbie here so this is probably a dumb question. Just bought a 120g tank about 10 days ago and have added live sand and rock. Nothing else as of yet. When I need to top off with a small amount of water, does that water need to be pre-treated with the salt mix or is that only necessary for weekly water changes?

Top off water should be non-salted.

Don't add salt. Top off is to replace water evaporation only, salt doesn't evaporate. However you should always check your salinity

No salt needed for topoff, just use saltwater with water changes.
