Update: Chick Magnet milli drew first blood on Side Chick. It's crazy how the milli's growth revolves around gunning for Side Chick, as if it knew to go after it as seen in a zoomed out picture below.

My money is on the milli. I've had them grow into other sps before and they seem to always prevail.

Side Chick has grown back over the stung area. It remains to be seen if this will end up in a bloodbath or coexistence.

Update: Side Chick is mounting a comeback. The tip has darkened significantly. It's starting to form a perimeter around the tip of Chick Magnet milli.

I cant get enough of threads like these. Its crazy that they each have their own behavior towards the contact. Did you cut the one shoot off of the chick magnet?

Didn't mean to. But I was cutting the Side Chick to avoid shading so I can keep taking pictures and accidentally knocked the milli branch off.

Overall Side Chick is a way faster grower than the milli.
