When will that day come?

So I have a flame angel that is a little less than 2 in long in a 45 gallon tank along with a 2 and a 1/2 in yellow tang. When will it be time to move these guys to a bigger tank?

For the tang, the moment you put it in there. You think they are ok when in a smaller tank until you finally do upgrade and they show you just how restricted they have been.

I have had the tang since it was very small and I am guessing it might be time to move him?
