so for about 3 days now not all my zoas are opening up and my chromis are hiding at night(which they never normally do) all standard parameters that I can check are stable/normal. But I just feel something seems off in the tank mostly because of the zoas. Some are open and fine but I would say 2/3 of them are either all closed or at least some of the colony is. All other corals seem ok including sps. Other than the standard test kits there really isn't anything I feel I can do. Going to do a water change tomorrow even tho I did one earlier in the week to see if that helps. Weird situation

The chromis thing isn't really bothering me. They looked great this AM but didn't come out for a late dinner last night. The zoas are throwing me off tho. Some are almost melted and possibly done I think...

Retest all parameters and post results, including the brand you use.

Salifert kits:
Alk 8.3
Mag 1420
Ca 430
Apex:
Temp 76.5-77 I always run a little cool like this(candy basslet and has always been fine for everything)
PH 8.1-8.2 throughout the day night
Cond 33-33.5
Orp high 300s
Refractometer: 1.025
Hanna ulr: phos .02-.03 (even twice in a row never get the same reading)

With minor fluctuations these are my general parameters

Okay all looks good.

Id get a second test opinion. Try a sample at the lfs.

Nitrate is usually around 5.

Sincere thanks for anyone's help and advice. Today the zoas are all looking much better. My alk is around 7.8 today. Going to try and keep it 7.5 to 8
