I’m new to reef tanks, and SW in general. I’ve had freshwater, brackish and planted tanks before. I was born and raised in Yonkers, but live in Yorktown now. Anyone close to me? Any groups that meet up?

I’m in Katonah, but basically just babysitting my tanks till I can move them to my new home in Hopewell Junction. Not too easy to move over 1000g of fish and corals.

Armonk here. I’ve had freshwater planted tanks for many years (still have them) but just dove into the salt water reef tank side of things this past month with our first tank (Red Sea MAX Nano Peninsula 26 Gallon). Tank is stocked with couple clownfish, hermit crabs, and all parameters stable, and looking forward to getting our first corals in the next couple weeks. Nice to know there’s a local community group in the hobby.
