To anyone interested the next LIRA meeting is Friday January 9th, our guest speaker is Mr. Saltwater Tank Mark Callahan. The club meets at the Acan lighting office in Hauppauge right off the expressway at exit 53. While membership is not required to attend we do ask non members for a $5 donation to help cover the cost of the speaker.

Hi,
Nassau county here. New to the hobby, about a month. I have a Red Sea Max 29 gal that I love but am looking to supplement the moon lighting. Do you have any experience with the truelumen Led's? I am looking to learn as much as I can. Just starting out with some frags.

its basically a reef club conference at the long island aquarium in riverhead. theres vendors, both dry goods and livestock as well as guest speakers. theres a link below this thread. dates coming up soon, march 21st.
