Where are all the new corals?

I know summer slows down reefing! That being said I was thinking that I hadn't seen a lot of "new" or "newly named" corals as of late.

Is it just me?

I'm sure a new species will pop to the forefront soon and I'll have to learn a billion new color names. I'm still waiting on the Indophyllia craze to kick off. The past year or two, some cool ones have trickled into the states. Australomussa still hasn't erupted how I thought it would, either.

Some of the lack of new morphs could be due to the recent enormous push towards aquaculture. I feel that as time goes on, we may see less new ones coming in. Happy to take pressure of the reefs , but it is a double edged sword.
