Where are these reefing folks?

Just wondering if anyone on here knows where these reefers are nowadays? I'm talking about Jendub, MuchoReef & Marvins Reef?

Have they "retired" from the hobby? I used to communicate with them from way back via PM's or e-mails ...

Haven't heard from MUCHO REEF or Marvins Reef in a very long time.
I know Mucho use to be mostly on RC, but would occasionally see him on other boards.
Last post I could find on RC was last summer.

Not so much here (being more recent), but if you look at older threads on RC it's a remarkably high percentage of people that post a lot for a while and then disappear. Rather supports the anecdote that people only spend a few years in the hobby.

1) I think people expect certain results. If they don't get them they leave the hobby.
2) I also think that the hobby requires less maintenance over time, but without automation or monitoring, the maintenance remains the same.

I used to communicate with MuchoReef via my work e-mails many years back & if I'm not mistaken he may have retired from the work force. Believed he used to work for GM ... even invited him to come over to check out Reef Raft Canada back then ....

I have not viewed nor login to RC ever since R2R came online .... Why? Cause they refuse to change my very first username: PauChi ... ;Yawn ... back when I was still a reefing newbie
