Where are you all purchasing your shells for your Halloween hermits? I cant seem to find the cone style anywhere local and I'm having a difficult time online. Any and all help.is greatly appreciated, thank you!

I don't buy them, I pick them up off the beach... but then I'm lucky enough to live in SW Florida and not far from Sanibel Island where lots of shells wash up. I'm sure if I looked around I could find a few cone shells I could send you.

I assume you are looking to go a bit bigger than what your Halloween Hermit has in use now? Pull him out and measuer the shell end to end, measure the circumference around the big end and probably the most important measure how long and how tall the opening is where the hermit fits in (I realize the last 2 will probably best guess estimates). Then I'll see what we have in our inventory. BTW, we have a house full of shells!

Will get the measurements tonight after work! Will also, check out the online vendor! Thank you very much.

For $2 go for the buy. But if you can't find them, ask me. I loved my Halloween Hermit. My wife and I watched him change shells a few times. Once he went back and forth about 5 times before he made the final move! ;Hilarious

Mines about 1.25" long by .5" wide. He has molted twice and I'm sure he's looking just jot interested in the big snail shells I have.
