Where can I buy this fish!!!!

Ok, so I just saw a picture of the Red Gurnard, commonly referred to as a sea robin or Butterfly of the Sea. I want this fish!!!! Its beautiful! Is this something I could buy somewhere? Does anyone know anything about them? I have a predator tank with live rock and live sand only.

I highly doubt they are available in fish stores haha. And yes, they are a predatorial fish

My wholesaler lists several of the other Gurnard Species but not this one. They are one of the largest importers/exporters in the world so my guess is that you would be very lucky to find one available.

Of course....I always want what I cant have! Oh well!

Try asking nicewrasse. I know he gets some really nice fish in and is located in fl. You never know until you ask!
