Where did I go wrong!

So, my 4, almost 5 yr old has been involved with my tanks pretty much her whole life. She can rattle off more facts about our fish and coral than most adults. It’s great to have her so involved. She had a nuvo 20 set up in her room, which I took down and just recently replaced with The mangrove lagoon on our main level, tied into the main display for easier maintenance. She is very clear that this is now her tank, as it was a replacement for hers and has her fish and anemones in it.
Which brings us to the question at hand, where did I go wrong. Last night she tells me, “I really want a treasure chest in my fish tank. It’s fun for adults to have all this natural stuff in it, but kids need treasure chests, or sponge bob decorations”. I thought I was doing so well!...

Maybe I need to get one of those Reef Casts made of a treasure chest. Have the jewels be zoas or something. A little cyphastrea around the outside...

The worry there is you basically need to be qt’ing a fish for perpetuity! Not necessarily a bad problem...

They’re not aesthetically appealing but they can still be neat. I knew someone who’s kid wanted a treasure chest bubbler (one with the moving lid that dumps air) in one of his tanks. He put it in the clown/nem tank. The three clowns would actually wait for the bubbles to dump and compete at chasing them. It was fun to watch them play their game!

Just pick out something high quality and nice looking and it won't look bad imo. Maybe something that is open and plant some small zoa's inside the chest.

There is a pico on another forum with a volcano that has a black/purple torch for the plume and a little tiki hut with zoa flowers/bushes and it's different and fun to look at as the hermits like to visit the tiki hut. Sunken ships and skulls are not uncommon for adults to add.
