Where did the aqualifter go?

It's discontinued at BRS and ridiculously expensive at other websites. The cheapest I found was $25 at Walmart. What happened, and are there any alternatives?

I bought one off Chewy.com for $25, I thought that was a reasonably price. How cheap they used to be?

Used to be able to pick them up for half that, at least the last time I bought a couple. Glad I bought a spare if they're discontinued. That would be too bad.

Good post, IMO there is a big demand for another “pull” type pump like the aqua lifter.
Sometimes the pump or outlet needs to be near the tank while whatever your dosing is remote.
I’d like to do my top off water Aqualifter style as opposed to pushing water with a pump

Avast Marine sells them but not always in stock, I have one as a backup but I have not put in service yet.

Avast Marine diaphragm pump is vastly superior to the aqua lifter .... but carried a price premium to match.

Hydrofill is also a diaphragm pump but costs alot, using one on my ATO without issue.
