Hi guys, I need some guidance.
I'm getting ready to start plumbing my 90g frag tank. Never had plumbed anything in my life before so I feel kind of lost :(
The tank is a deep blue professonal rimless with a 1 inch whole for the overflow and a 3/4 for the return, now my pump is a jebao dcp10000 and it has a 1 inch output thing so should I plumb the pump to the 1 inch hole? Would I be ok with a 3/4 hole for the overflow? I'm not plannng on runnin the pump at full speed as it is I think to powerful for this tank. If I reduce the tubing from the pump to a 3/4 it will had more head pressure right? But that size pump should be able to handle it rigth? sump is a 40g breeder.
Thank you in advance!!!

First, the DCP 10000 is about 2 times the pump you need for that tank. On its lowest setting it may be overwhelming the tank. I use a DCT6000 on my 90 and have seldom ever run it over 60%.

Second, ideally if you can I would use both holes in the overflow as drains and drill the tank for the return. Google the Herbie drain method.

I just realize that about the pump. So giving that is powerful enough I should be able to get away with as many 90 degree elbows as I want right.
I can make both holes that are already drill overflow and that other as an emergency overflow.
And instead of drilling the tank get a way with a u pipe thing coming from the hole that's on the bak of the stand.
What do you think?

You could definitely do that, just be very careful and have a siphon break for you return.

I'm plannng on leaving the return nozzle just above the water line, plus a little hole drill somewhere in the elbow. The only thing that I dont like about that is that it wil draticly change the looks of the rimless... can't make up my mind
