Where do people usually pick up ostracods?

I like ostracods. Seen people with cod populations in their tanks but I never figured out where would one get them without having them hitchhike, or any specific locality of rocks/corals/sand they like. Anyone had experience?

The only places that I know sell them either sell freshwater or coldwater species, not tropical marine ones.

Probably the easiest way to get some would be by buying some from a hobbyist with them in their tank.

might be worth a try... do they deplete minerals to calcify their shells or are their shells chitin only?
