Ok, question. Whats the rule of thumb,or procedure as far as heat packs go. Im always a little leary of cooking my frags and steer clear of shipping during winter months. Is it trial and error or science?

My rule of thumb, when it gets colder out...you got to think of the lowest possible temp that the frags may incure...which is usually while sitting in a warehouse somewhere at 2am-4am. If it is going to go below 60 or so degrees I will include a heat pack most times. I never have the heat pack near the frags or else they will cook...so I wrap them in a few layers of newspaper or paper towel...and usually put them on the other side of the box with some insulation (peanuts or bubble wrap) between them. If the frag is going in a thermos...then you are usually good to have the heat pack anywhere in the box.

That's what I do at least!
