Where do you all bud DI resin

Where are y’all getting your DI resin from? I bought a bunch a while back but i go through that faster than anything else. I also assume i dont have to buy from the original manufacturer to? Mine is a Kollermax ar-122

I was buying pre packaged 1lb vacuum sealed bags with no name on them .
that lfs stopped selling that brand and only offers brs brand which I have witnessed the same as you . It doesn’t last ( I’m getting maybe 30 gals water after refilling the cartridge

Interested as well,,, but the BRS bulk mixed DI resin (color changing) is actually cheaper ($12 for 1.25 lbs vs $21).
*no idea how similar the two are

What about with shipping factored in? If so that's a deal. Been buying from Amazon due to prime shipping, but if the price is overall better, I'll go for it also!

Good point -- didn't factor that in. (I think you have to spend like $50 at BRS to get free shipping,,, plus Amazon is probably faster).
*I like the idea of the color changing resin (over replacing after you see TDS rise) so have just been using that but no idea how the quality compares.

I’ve been paying on average $20/ lb for this stuff for years .

if you know anyone that works with edm wire cutting they use this same media for cooling and filtering water into the machines .

The resin I linked is color changing. And yes, with prime (I send a link to all the things I want to my daughter) shipping is free.

If I had to take a stab at it…..bout 180 gallons worth. I’m sure my filter media expires a lil faster since I have it in the garage in texas and heat doesn’t help the longevity.

BRS for years. Haven't noticed it not lasting as long as it used to.

BRS here as well. Spend enough for free shipping. It's tough spending $49 but I always manage to.

I buy the bulk packages from BRS. I usually wait till they go on sale or do 20x points. One package will usually last till the next sale since they do sales on their BRS branded products pretty often. Cheapest I’ve found that way.

The kind i have is color changing but i just hit 1 tds (somewhere in the middle of filling 32 gal so just wasted probably 20-25 gallons) and it lasted maybe 300-400 gallons. When mine hits 1 tds I change the sediment filter and 2x di resins. I just don’t want to order from the manufacturer again the shipping is ridiculous.

Being Canada I’m sure it’s not as hot here this time of year .

I believe cold water is ideal.

I would try to figure out why your are only getting 30 gallons. High TDS going in to the resin or high CO2.
