Where do you buy your salt?

And how much do you pay for it?

For years I bought the 200g box of Kent reef salt from Dr fosters and Smith for 42.99 shipped. Once that shut down I bought a couple of boxes of livaquaria salt for about the same price (must have been on sale). Now I can't find a quality salt for a decent price! The best I've found is reef crystals 200g on Amazon for 52.99. I've never used RC but I'm sure it's fine. Anyways, where are the best deals???

I don't care for RC it is a very dirty salt. I get my salt from BRS but I also use Tropic Marin Pro

Ya I've avoided RC for many years but I'm not seeing anything better within that price range. I believe tropic Marin is like $30 more (i could be wrong). Luke I know you can't go wrong with regular io but for $2 more I'm leaning towards reef crystals.

Anybody know of any online vendors have sales planned soon?

Thanks mich fritz is definately an option since I think it's the exact same salt as the livaquaria brand I've been using. Just not sure of its worth paying $11 more than reef crystals. (I'm a cheapo if u all haven't noticed)

I do miss the great salt deals DFS would have. I would get my Tropic Marin regular for around $55 shipped. Now liveaquaria wants around $100 for it and maybe around $85 with one of their best deals. Best deals I've seen excluding instant ocean/reef crystals at amazon, is the $30 off $100 that Petco will run a few times a year. That gets my Tropic marin down to around the $55 mark. They just don't have the selection like DFS had.

Amazon currently has the IO 50 gal bags for $8.97 with free shipping if you have prime. Even cheaper if you do the subscribe and save.
