Where do you dose?

Just curious where in your system you are dosing. I dose 2 part via BRS dosing pumps into my BioCube 29. At first, I was dosing into the first chamber of the sump as there is pretty good flow in that area. I recently moved the output of my dosers to feed into the main tank (right above where the return pump outputs into the main display). The reason I moved it was because the last time I cleaned my pre-filter in my InTank media basket (which is directly after where the additives were introduced), it felt "crunchy". Just wondering what your thoughts are about where to dose with a similar system. I dose Alk and Ca each, every 3 hours, 2 minutes each session (an hour apart from each other). Is there any danger or benefit associated with dosing directly into the display over the sump or vice versa? Thanks!

I dose in the the return section of the sump. I went with a sump to have my DT with a clean uncluttered look. I used to dose by the return outlet and my gyre would mix the dose in well. I dose in the morning and in the evening to spread out the dose.
