I was wondering where everyone keeps their Alkalinity / KH levels at. Targeting between 7-11 Alk (dkh). How do your corals respond at different levels? Is it better to be on the low side or high side, or right in the middle? I've been maintaining mine at 8.4 Alk/KH.
I use B-Ionic 2 part calcium buffer system. Bottle#1 Alkalinity- Bottle #2 calcium. I've been using this stuff religiously for years and never had any problems maintaining proper levels.

I am carbon dosing so I keep my levels around 7-7.5 dkh. 8.4 is a good level to keep it if you are not carbon dosing.

I'm in the same boat as Mike above, except my "carbon dosing" is with biopellets....so I also target 7 to 7.5. I too am a two part user, but with DIY chemicals...since 2008.
