So puffers sleep in the sand? Didn’t know that. Also didn’t know damsels burrow under rock do now!

Yup! Most porcupine puffers do prefer to sleep on a softer surface both in captivity and the wild especially since they get big and typically can’t comfortably fit under a rock in an aquarium. Plus they sleep on their tummies and sand is a lot softer/comfortable. And yes damsels like to burrow under rocks.
