Unfortunately right now much of the Midwest, and Wisconsin is in the middle of it, is experiencing some major snowfall, and this can lead to delays in the courier systems--all of them. I have actually been calling off some shipments due to the delays I am expecting from this storm system. This is something that is largely out of the shipper's/vendor's hands. If they had anticipated this delay and held off shipping, that would have been the only thing they could do, but if they shipped on the agreed upon date and by the method you asked for, the rest of the responsibility lies with the courier service. It's out of the shipper's hands at that point. Now, if it's "out for delivery", at least that means it's not delayed by a day. There is still a good likelihood that it will get there within a reasonable timeframe.
If you must leave, try to provide the courier with a suitable safe place to leave the package, and leave them written (and SIGNED) instructions on where to leave it. This scenario may negate your live arrival guarantee (depends on the company), but at least you won't have to chase the package around or wait till tomorow; this will be the safest for the corals.
