Where is your quarintine tank?

For those that use a quarintine tank, where do you have it located? How far from your DT? QT size?

In kitchen about 50 feet away. 20 gal.

When it’s set up (20g), it’s next to the DT on a hand-painted, commissioned buffet table in the dining area. My wife is very pleased when she sees the QT tank out…yeah, let’s just go with that!

Mine is a 20 gallon. When it is up it is in my living room where I can watch the fish in it closely. It is about 15 feet from one tank and 5 feet from the other.

My qt is in my closet, its walk in lol and open and it is a 36 gal. And my DT is all the way in my kitchen... Very far frm my bedroom.

Mine is a 20 for coral and a 40 for fish. Both right next to the tank in the fish room.

Peninsula DT (126g) is in the finished basement and if running, the fish QT (29g) is about 15 ft away in the corner, alongside a 10g frag tank

I have several QT tanks....some for fish and others for coral....from 10g to 40g breeder. i keep my QT tanks empty and located in the basement until I need them, and then just use existing mature reef water and some media (ie, beneficial bacteria) from from my established reef to get the QT up and running, when needed.

The DT I'm currently stocking is on the 1st floor between the kitchen and tv room. The QT tank is upstairs in a room with low foot traffic.

I have so many QTs, but they are all at least 10 feet away from one another and my DT. Wife's fav QT is in our bedroom. She just loves listening to the water flow sound from the HOB powerfilter.

Mine is right next to my DT -40 breeder
As soon as these last two fish are back in the DT I'll be finding a better place for it further away from the DT.
