Hello

Ill bite, first off, Move and affix your frag plugs where you think you would like them. It is important to think long term and your overall objectives. What else do you want in your tank? Draw it out on paper, put it in front of you, and look at it over the next few days. Once you are happy with the placement, I would then take everything off the frag plugs and glue directly to the rock. Your sps need to be higher up in the tank with strong lighting and flow. I would populate the ends of the branching rock with the sps's. The Goni needs a nice mid level front corner with indirect flow. Chalices and Fav need room to grow (spread) the are more middle of the tank vertical and horizontally. What is the end game and leave yourself room so you dont paint yourself in a corner. Best of luck!!

Thank you for your input, know one else did. I went to my LFS (WWC) and you are right on with what they said to place the frags. Off to place the frags

Will do in a couple of hours

As promised the pictures of the placed corals. with some time and good care the scape should turn out pretty good, I also need to watch of few more sales and put in a couple of corals in the back side of the scape. Np more green, need to find some yellows and reads to mix things up.

Looks good, the goni is nice and fully extended. It will take a while to get it all filled in,but its the journey not the destination. I love the WWC sales here and on Ebay. They have some great frags, and their sticks cant be beat. I did there anniversary 16 hour sale and got some great stuff, even full colonies for great prices. Best of luck your heading in the right direction!!!

Yes I bought the 9 new frags at the anniversary sale. The good and bad thing is WWC is 1.2 miles from the house.

Also love the ricordia farm you have on the substrate can see a lot of potential there.
I made a mistake and blended salts and I have a algae bloom going on right now and will not do that again. I also increased the flow by twice and the older corals are starting to be happy again. It will be interesting to see what the scape looks in 6 months and a year. I need to find two corals that will grow in the back with mid level light, with a lot of flow for the back side. I was amazed with the goni, when I move the goni it was the size of a sugar cube and today the goni bloomed to 4 times it size.

Goni's are weird and sometimes they dont make sense. I had mine close up for for no reason, and for two days, only to blow up again.

I used reef crystals and had good success, but then got turn on to natural seawater and never looked back. My test come back perfect everytime.

Great fill in corals are hammers, torches, Frogspawn, Cabbage, pipe organ, and a few plating monti on different levels. That would be cool, different Monti's at different steps in your reef work.

Anyway looking forward to seeing your progress. Im not too far from you here in Jacksonville but your much closer to WWC. I would be there several times a week and broke!!
